About Elias Youssef

Over the course of his career, Elias Youssef has combined a keen business acumen with an interest in his local and world community. He studied business at Seton Hall University and there distinguished himself as a high-level soccer player, having earned standing in the college All-American conference for the 1989 and 1990 seasons. Elias Youssef remains a lifelong Liverpool soccer fan and enjoys following the successes of the Brazilian international team as well.

Elias Youssef spends his working hours as president of Eli's Corner Gourmet Bagel. He comes to this position with a personal passion for food and cooking. Interested in cuisines of the world, he favors Italian and Mediterranean dishes, though he recently developed a fondness for preparing sushi.

Mr. Youssef also enjoys exploring world cultures through travel. He has visited destinations across North America and Europe, and he continues to seek out new places and experiences. Meanwhile, he maintains a rich home and community life, which includes active participation as a member of St. Mark's Syrian Orthodox Cathedral in Teaneck, New Jersey.
